The Founder
Founder · Director · 74 Holdings
Kuwaiti entrepreneur, motorsport advocate, and builder of long-horizon ventures — rooted in a family legacy that spans three centuries of commerce, public service, and quiet influence.
Family Heritage
The Al Wazzan name traces back to 18th century Kuwait, where our ancestors were the custodians of the city's weighing trade — the wazzan, those entrusted to measure and verify the exports that flowed from Kuwait's ports to the wider world. It was a role built entirely on trust.
That heritage is not decorative. It shapes how we build businesses today: with precision, with accountability, and with an understanding that your name is your most durable asset.
My grandfather carried this legacy into public life, serving as a member of the Kuwaiti National Assembly — and notably proposing the opening of a racetrack in Kuwait during his tenure, a vision decades ahead of its time, and one that lives on in my own work in motorsport today.
74 Holdings was built to honour that lineage — not through nostalgia, but through action, creation, and long-term thinking that a family name demands.
Al Wazzan family established as custodians of Kuwait's export weighing — trusted arbiters of commerce in the Gulf.
Grandfather elected to the Kuwaiti National Assembly. Proposes construction of a national racetrack — a vision ahead of its era.
Abdulla co-founds Beult, a motorsport talent agency for GCC drivers — fulfilling the family's long connection to racing.
The holding company is formalised, unifying ventures across motorsport, eyewear, digital infrastructure, and events.
A Message from the Founder
To those who build with intention —
I grew up understanding that a family name is not inherited passively. It is earned, generation by generation, through the decisions you make when no one is watching — and the ones you make when everyone is.
The Al Wazzan family spent centuries measuring the weight of things. I have spent my life learning what that truly means. Weight is not just mass — it is significance. Consequence. The mark you leave behind.
74 Holdings was not built to be a company. It was built to be a vehicle for ideas that deserve to exist in the world — ventures that are thought through carefully, positioned with conviction, and built to last longer than any single market cycle or trend.
We operate across motorsport, eyewear, business formation, and events — not because these are adjacent markets, but because each one represents a genuine belief that something better is possible than what currently exists.
My grandfather once stood in the National Assembly and argued for a racetrack in Kuwait. People thought it was a distraction. Decades later, the GCC is one of the fastest-growing motorsport markets in the world. The long view is almost always right.
That is the spirit of 74. Build for the generation after next. Trust the process. Put your name on it.
